A serious two-car accident closed all the eastbound lanes of Veterans Highway in Hauppauge during Monday morning's rush hour, according to Suffolk County police.
The crash was reported at the intersection of Simeon Woods Road and Route 454 eastbound, near the H. Lee Dennison building complex, at approximately 7 a.m. Veterans Highway was reopened by 7:45 a.m., according to New York State Department of Transportation.
Suffolk County police did not immediately have the details of the accident available.
