Cops Seek Pair in Cell Phone Theft

Theft occurred on Sept. 10.

Suffolk police are asking for the public's help finding two women who they say stole a cellphone that had been inadvertently left on the counter of a Dunkin' Donuts store on Wheeler Road in Hauppauge.

The theft occurred on Sept. 10 at about 6:30 p.m. Police said a woman wearing green stole the Samsung Galaxy S4 cellphone from the counter.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest. Call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS; all will be kept confidential.
