Crime Report: Items Stolen from 7-Eleven in Islandia, Burglaries

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Suffolk County Police Department reported the following arrests and incidents relating to Hauppauge:

Robert Trimigliozzi, 31, of Hauppauge, was arrested Aug. 24 and charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police said Trimigliozzi was driving a 2008 Nissan on Expressway Drive South when he was traveling at above the speed limit. He was pulled over at Expressway Drive South and McArthur Boulevard where cops determined he was under the influence of drugs, according to police reports.

Carlos Sanchez, 20, of Central Islip, was arrested Aug. 20 in Islandia and charged with petty larceny and criminal possession of a stolen vehicle. Sanchez stole assorted food and beer from a 7-Eleven in Islandia, according to police report. Officers responding to the scene found Sanchez was in possession of a stolen Honda Civic.

James Ramunni, 24, of Nesconset, was arrested Aug. 20 and charged with grand larceny in the third-degree, two counts of burglary in the second-degree, and criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police said Ramuni entered a Nesconset home on Old Nichols Road through an unlocked door and stole cash and a car key. He allegedly stole a 2010 Honda Civic.  
Then Ramunni entered a Nesconset home on Lincoln Avenue to stole assorted coins, according to police reports. Cops were called to the scene and arrested Ramunni on Lincoln Avenue, where they allegedly found him in possession of a controlled substance.
