Crime Report: Driver Flees the Scene of a Car Accident
Suffolk County Police Department's Fourth Precinct reported these arrests and incidents in Hauppauge from Nov. 18 to 22.
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Alcira Escobar, 23, of Brentwood, was arrested Nov. 19 in Hauppauge and charged with leaving the scene of an accident. Escobar allegedly fled the scene after his 1997 Dodge was involved in an accident with a 2010 Mercedes at 4:30 p.m. A woman in the Mercedes was brought to the hospital, according to police reports.
Eric Ardam, 25, of Commack, was arrested Nov. 19 in Hauppauge and charged with first offense DWI. Police said Ardam was pulled over near the intersection of Veterans Highway and Route 347 and found to be intoxicated.

Jesse Spindler, 26, of Huntington Station, was arrested Nov. 18 in Hauppauge and charged with first offense DWI. Spindler was driving a 2006 Nissan on Route 347 at 2:53 a.m. when he crossed three lanes of traffic to make an illegal left turn onto Route 111, according to police reports.
Geraldo Martinez, 20, of Brentwood, was arrested Nov. 18 in Islandia and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle. Police said Martinez was driving a 1994 Toyota with a suspended license at 8:55 a.m.
