Crime Report: Nesconset Man Allegedly Breaks into Two Homes
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Suffolk County Police Department reported these arrests and incidents in Hauppauge:
James Ramunni, 24, of Nesconset, was arrested Aug. 20 and charged for burglary and third-degree grand larceny. Police said on Aug. 10 Ramunni broke through a screen and into a residency on Lincoln Avenue in Nesconset. On Aug. 18, Ramunni was charged with grand larceny when he broke into a home on Old Nicol's Road, where he stole cash and a set of car keys, according to police. Ramunni then allegedly stole a 2010 Honda Civic, to which the car keys belonged on Aug. 19.

Philip Mclean, 47, of Hauppauge, was arrested Aug. 17 and charged for operating a vehicle with a BAC .08 of 1 percent. Police said Mclean was at the intersection of Commack Road and Bayshore Avenue in North Babylon when he was involved in a crash at 9.20 p.m.
Jorge Carballo, 37, of Central Islip, was arrested Aug. 16 and charged with first-offense DWI. Police said Carballo was driving his 2002 Nissan Frontier at 11:54 a.m. when he got into a car crash on the corner of Veterans Memorial Highway and the Long Island Expressway's South Service Road.
