Crime Report: Man Allegedly Violates Order of Protection
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Precinct reported these arrests and incidents in Hauppauge and Nesconset during Feb. 24 - March 2.
Police said Julio Aguilar, 56, of Port Jefferson Station violated an order of protection on Feb. 28. Aguilar was arrested in Hauppauge on a second-degree criminal contempt charge, a misdemeanor.
A duo from Nesconset was arrested in Nesconset on Feb. 27 after police said they stole jewelry from a home on Jan. 3 at 3:45 p.m. Police arrested John Mitchell, 27, and Nicholas Mitchell, 20, both of Nesconset each on a charge of second-degree burglary, a felony.
