Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Precinct reported these arrests and incidents in Hauppauge during Jan. 6-12.
Zearl Simmelkjaer, 50, of the Bronx, was arrested on Jan. 11 in Hauppauge on third-degree robbery charges, a felony. Reports state Simmelkjaer was arrested in Hauppauge after an incident that took place on Middle Country Road in St. James at 1:14 p.m. where he reached into a red Honda, punched the driver several times and stole a hand-held computer.
Nat Sacco, 23, of Nesconset, was arrested on Jan. 10 in Nesconset on revocation of presumptive release charges. Reports state Sacco was arrested on a parole warrant.
