Crime Report: Wrong Way Driver Charged With DWI
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Precinct reported these arrests and incidents in Hauppauge.
Michelle Morris, 42, of Hauppauge, was arrested in Smithtown on March 18 at 1:36 p.m. on petit larceny charges. Reports state Morris took assorted groceries from Target.
Samantha Simpson, 26, of Kings Park was charged with driving while intoxicated on March 22. Police said Simpson was driving eastbound in the westbound lane on Veterans Highway at 5:53 a.m.

Elmer Ramirez, 25, of Brentwood was charged with driving while intoxicated. Police said Ramirez was driving a 2008 Honda on Old Willets Path at 3:52 a.m. and failed to maintain lane.
