The Suffolk County Police Department reported these arrests and incidents:
Stephanie Rivas, 25, of Central Islip was arrested Dec. 7 and faced one misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated - first offense. Rivas was driving 2003 Toyota Corolla on Wheeler Road/Route 111 when she lost control of the vehicle, driving up the embankment on the opposite side of the roadway. Police responding to the single-car accident determined Rivas was intoxicated and arrested her.
Jose Ortiz, 39, of Richmond, Va., was arrested Dec. Dec. 8 and charged with misdemeanor counts of driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Ortiz was parked in a lot off the intersection of Expressway Drive North and Route 111/Wheeler Road with the keys in the ignition of his van. Police questioning him determined Ortiz was intoxicated and arrested him.
Vanessa Pomi, 27, of Nesconset, was arrested on Dec. 3 and charged with a misdemeanor count of criminal mischief: intentional property damage. Police said Pomi deliberate keyed another person's vehicle.
