Crimes Nearby: Prostitution Charges in Commack

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County and New York State Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The Suffolk County and New York State Police Department reported the following arrests.

Commack

Kevin Wegner, 19, of Commack, was arrested March 26 and charged him with second-degree criminal mischief and two counts of making graffiti. , including spraypainting graffiti,in the Town of Huntington going back to summer 2011.

Eric Oldham, 20, of Commack, was arrested March 23 and charnged with second-degree aggravated harassment. Police said Oldham made multiple threatening voicemail messages to a a female victim's phone. 

A Commack teen was arrested March 21 and charged with petty larceny. Police said the teen attempted to take clothes from Bob's Stores in East Northport without paying for the items.

Michael Sparacino, 46, of Commack, was arrested March 19 and charged with petty larceny and acting in a manner injuring a child under age 17. Sparacino attempted to leave the Baby R Us on Veterans Highway without paying for a stroller, according to police. A young child was with him at the time of the incident. 

Margaret Baranovics, 24, of Deer Park, was arrested March 19 and charged with prostitution. Police said Baranovics was found soliciting men for sexual acts on Moreland Road in Commack.

Smithtown

Stephan Miller, 24, of St. James, was arrested on March 18 at 3:05 a.m. on first-offense DWI charges. Reports state Miller was driving a 2005 Infiniti northbound on River Road in Smithtown when he made a left at an intersection that prohibited left turns and failed to maintain lane.

Juana Membrano, 20, of Brentwood, was arrested in Smithtown on March 18 at 3:30 a.m. charges of third-degree false reporting of an incident. Reports state Membrano reported to Suffolk County Police that she was the victim of a robbery committed by four men on Locust Street in Lake Ronkonkoma, which was not true.

Three Village

Jonathan Pomeroy, 26, of East Setauket, was arrested March 19 and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Reports state Pomeroy was arrested at a business located at 766 Route 25A at 9:11 p.m. According to police, he also had a hypodermic needle in his possession.

Sara Veryzer, 24, of East Setauket, was arrested March 19 and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. According to reports, Veryzer was arrested alongside Pomeroy at the same location.
