Crimes Nearby: Restaurant Owner Arrested for Alleged Sexual Abuse, DWIs

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County police reported the following information:

Commack

Tom Lam, 39, of Flushing, the co-owner of at 5032 Jericho Turnpike, Commack, and 7967 Jericho Tpke., Woodbury, was arrested Dec. 27 and charged with first-degree sexual abuse.
Lam allegedly perpetrated forcible sexual contact on a 24-year-old female employee in an office at the Woodbury restaurant location, police said.

Matthew Varughese, 62, of East Northport, was arrested Dec. 22 in Commack and charged with first offense DWI. Reports indicate he failed to maintain his lane while driving a 2006 Toyota westbound on Vanderbilt Motor Parkway.

Smithtown

Deniz Gun, 30, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested Dec. 22 in St. James and charged with first offense DWI. Police said Gun crashed into a tree while driving southbound on Acorn Street.

Donna Indrigo, 55, of Smithtown, was arrested Dec. 22 in Smithtown and charged with first offense DWI. Indrigo made an illegal right on red to turn onto Main Street from Landing Avenue, according to police reports. 

Farzan Qureshi, 20, of Lake Ronkonkoma, was arrested Dec. 23 in Nesconset and charged with first offense DWI. Qureshi allegedly had an illegal blood alcohol content while driving a 2003 Dodge Caravan on Lake Ronkonkoma Boulevard.

Anthony Celentano, 28, of Smithtown, was arrested Dec. 23 in Smithtown and charge with aggravated DWI, harrassment and resisting arrest. He is accused of driving a 2009 Jeep Cherokee under the influence of alcohol, and swinging his arm into an officer's chest during the arrest.

Port Jefferson

Christopher Molina, 40, of Port Jefferson, was arrested Dec. 22 and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing. The charge came from a Dec. 14 incident near when he allegedly grabbed a female victim by the throat.

Heather Clark, 27, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested Dec. 24 and charged with six counts of second degree forgery. She allegedly stole checks and then fraudulently wrote them out.
