Driving While Impaired, Petit Larceny Arrests This Week

A police blotter of crime activity in Hauppauge from the Suffolk Police Public Information Office.

The following information is taken from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incident list for the Fourth Precinct. The following individuals are not convicted of a crime, but have been arrested on the charges. Defendants are considered innocent until convicted or proven guilty. These are the arrested and incidents from Jan. 5 – Jan. 10.

Arrests:

Rebecca Anderson, 21, of Hauppauge, was arrested Jan. 5 in Lake Grove for petit larceny. Police said Anderson was found inside the Smithaven Mall trying to steal clothing and perfume at around 4:00 p.m. Anderson was also found to have an accomplice, Susan Anderson, according to police.

Susan Anderson, 52, of Hauppauge, was arrested Jan. 5 in Lake Grove for petit larceny. Susan Anderson was found in possession of stolen goods, according to police. Both her and Rebecca Anderson were arrested together around 4:00 p.m. Police are not sure their relationship. 

Nicholas Agliato, 21, of Hauppauge, was arrested in Hauppauge Jan. 7 for driving while ability impaired due to alcohol. Police said Agliato was driving a 2004 Ford Explorer when he drove across someone's front yard on Spacecraft Lane. Police arrested Agliato shortly after the incident at 4:30 p.m.

Susan Didonna, 44, of West Islip, was arrested in Hauppauge Jan. 6 for giving a false statement.  Didonna gave false information on a personal insurance application, according to police reports.
