Police: Attempted Robbery at Farmingville Chase Bank

Man attempts to rob bank on N. Ocean Avenue Tuesday afternoon.

Police are investigating an attempted robbery at a Chase Bank in Farmingville Tuesday afternoon.

Police said the 911 call came in around 2 p.m. after a man entered the bank, located at 2430 North Ocean Ave., approached a teller and displayed a note demanding cash.

When the teller did not immediately comply with the demand, the man fled on foot in an unknown direction.from the bank located at at the corner of Horseblock Road.

The robber is described as a black male, between 5-foot-3 and 5-foot-5, with a thin build. He was wearing a black jacket, sunglasses and a white baseball hat at the time of the robbery, police said. 

The robbery comes less than a week after a man attempted to rob two Medford banks.

The police are on the hunt for these guys and not the county officials? Tax rates on Long Island are the real robbery! Am I right?

How about investigating the murder of over a dozen women thrown on our beaches instead!!!!
