A Hauppauge boy has died after falling into his backyard pool on Sunday.
News12 reports that Shane Brennan, 4, died at Stony Brook University Medical Center days after falling into his backyard pool.
Suffolk County police said Brennan, who had Down Syndrome, had climbed up on a ladder to get into the pool at his Mount Pleasant Road home. His father pulled Shane out of the water and performed CPR until police arrived, according to News12.
