An Islandia woman has been identified as the person killed Saturday when a motorcycle hit the car she was riding in Saturday afternoon..
Newsday reports Mary Andrea Ryan, 41, of Islandia was a backseat passanger in 1998 Nissan Altima hit by a motorcycle late Saturday afternoon. Ryan was taken to Southside Hospital, where she later died.
Other passangers in the vehicle were not injured.
The motorcyclist, Christian Vogel, 24, of Central Islip, was also critically injured in the crash with a broken leg, broken arm and head injuries.
Police have determined there will be no criminal charges in the crash.
