Man Arrested After Scuffle at Hauppauge Nightclub

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.


• A 39-year-old man from Hauppauge was arrested Sept. 1 in Hauppauge and charged with resisting arrest and second-degree harassment, both misdemeanors. Police said he was asked to leave the Wall Street nightclub, but he did not leave, and punched another person. Police said he then struggled with three bouncers and resisted being handcuffed when police arrested him at 2:20 a.m.

• Mae Kennedy, 30, of Oakdale, was arrested Sept. 7 in Hauppauge and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police stopped her over after seeing her allegedly speeding on Route 454 at 3:12 a.m., and said she was intoxicated.

• A 60-year-old man from Central Islip was arrested Sept. 7 in Hauppauge and charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. During a traffic stop on Motor Parkway, police said he had cocaine and Oxycontin in his car.

• A 50-year-old woman from Smithtown was arrested Sept. 5 in Hauppauge and charged with leaving the scene of an accident, a traffic violation, after she allegedly rear-ended the car in front of her and drove away.
