Vandals Slash Tires on Multiple Nesconset Cars

Suffolk County police report unknown person(s) vandalized several cars on Feb. 17.

Multiple Nesconset homeowners woke up to discover the tires on their cars had been slashed overnight last Friday, according to Suffolk County police.

Police said they received calls from multiple homeowners on Shenandoah Boulevard North and Browns Road reporting their vehicles had been vandalized overnight between Feb. 16 and Feb. 17.

A Shenandoah Boulevard North homeowner reported on Feb. 17 someone had slashed three tires on two different vehicles, a 2000 Chevrolet and a 1998 Toyota, that were parked in the driveway.

Police said a second call was received on Feb. 17 from a Browns Road resident reporting that all four tires on a 2010 Chevrolet had been slashed overnight. It's not clear from the police reports where the car was parked.

It is not clear whether the two incidents are related, according to police, but no arrests have been made as of Thursday.
