A Nesconset man who allegedly broke into a female tenant's apartment in hopes of taking sexual advantage of her will be arraigned before grand jury in Riverhard courts Thursday.
Neil A. Parikh, 24, was arrested April 28 after breaking into his female tenant's apartment. He is charged with one felony count of burglary - illegal entry of a dwelling.
Suffolk County police said Parikh broke into his female tenant's apartment at roughly 1:30 a.m. April 27. He told police he intended to "knock out" the woman and sexually abuse her during the break-in. However, Parikh left the premises when the woman woke up and did not assault his intended victim.
Parikh is currently free on $15,000 cash bail, according to Suffolk County District Attorney's office. He will appear before Judge James F.X. Doyle Thursday morning.
