I do hope the man is ok. My family and I go to the flea market almost ever week and even though they did repaint the cross walk and there are signs clearly posted on either side of the street to yield to the pedestrians we have had obscenities yelled at us and fingers raised from cars who do not want to stop at the cross walk because there is no light there. Many cars will race towards us horns blaring to try to make the light at sunrise. I do hope it does not take many more injuries to have an officer positioned there during peak hours or at least a free standing sign in the middle of the street.

The injured man is my good friend. He's expected to recover - has broken ribs and a fractured shoulder. Plenty of bruises and abrasions. Still in the hospital. Thanks Delcia and all who helped him. And be careful crossing the street!
