Police are investigating an armed robbery in a Walmart parking lot that occurred last Thursday night.
Police said a 21-year-old man was walking in the parking lot behind Walmart on Blydenburgh Road in Islandia around 9:40 p.m. when an unknown man wearing a hoodie and a black bandana over his face pointed a knife at him and demanded his cell phone and cash.
The victim complied and the suspect ran away, police said. No arrests have been made as the 4th Squad continues to investigate.
