Police: Man Steals Golf Clubs From Lake Grove Store

Suffolk County Police are searching for a man who they say stole golf clubs from a Lake Grove store in September.

According to police, six TaylorMade custom golf clubs from Goldsmith, 3220 Middle Country Road, were stolen Sept. 24 at around 3:15 p.m. The value of the golf clubs is approximately $975, police said.

Police describe the man as white, thin, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, in his 30s with dark hair that is receding. Security footage of the suspect was sent by police and photos from it are included in this post.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
