The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing East Islip man who suffers from bipolar disorder and hasn’t been seen in several months.

Neighbors contacted Adult Protective Services on May 29 because they were concerned about two adult siblings living at 23 Haide Place who hadn’t seen for approximately six months, police said.

Adult Protective Services contacted police after the home was found to be filled with three feet of clothing, garbage and human waste, police said.

There was also no running water, heat or electric in the home. The woman living at the home was transported to a hospital for evaluation but her brother, Anthony Robustelli, 51, was not located. The house was condemned.

Robustelli is a recluse, police said, and is described as white, 5-foot-11, 170 pounds with a long gray hair, long beard and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about Robustelli’s location is asked to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8341.

Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.

I find it odd that the "usual " Patch contributors haven't complained about " illegals sucking the system" for this story.
