Police Report: Drug Dealing In Broad Daylight, Prostitution
Suffolk County's Fourth Precinct reported the following arrests were made in Hauppauge.
The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
Jason Scott, 31, of Shirley, and David Jenna, 29, of South Huntington, were both arrested July 8 at 3 p.m. in Islandia on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police said Scott was seen exchanging money with Genna in front of Hooters Restaurant at 3701 Expressway Drive North. As police approached, they said Scott tried to hide the envelopes in the glove compartment of his vehicle while Genna tried to hide something in his pant’s pocket. Officers found narcotics inside the envelopes and Genna’s front left pant pocket.
Maria Grant, 40, of Brentwood, was arrested in Islandia July 7 at 4:41 p.m. on charges of burglary. Police said Grant went into a Walmart, at 1850 Veterans Memorial Highway, where she stole clothing and juice.

Darlene McGee, 43, of Central Islip, was arrested in Hauppauge July 5 at 3:30 p.m. on charges of prostitution. Police said McGee was seen having sex with a man for money at , 650 Motor Parkway, Hauppauge. McGee was arrested after police saw money being exchanged, according to police reports.
