Police Report: DWIs Over Labor Day Weekend, Larcency
Suffolk County's Fourth Precinct reported the following arrests were made in Hauppauge and Islandia from Aug. 27 to Sept. 3.
The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
Tarik Nicolas, 25, of Hauppauge, was arrested in Smithtown Sept. 3 at 2:15 a.m. on charges of driving while intoxicated. Police said Nicolas was observed driving a 2002 Mercedes Benz when he failed to maintain his lane. Police pulled Nicolas over on Terry Road and after failing a field sobriety test, Nicolas was arrested.
Kerry Chelis Nieves, 21, of Central Islip was arrested in Nesconset on Sept. 3 at 4:30 a.m. on charges of driving while intoxicated. Police said Nieves was driving a 2008 Infinity when she was involved in a motor vehicle accident. Police said Nieves swerved off the road and hit into a tree.

Steven Delgiudice, 21, of Hauppauge, was arrested in Smithtown Aug. 31 on charges of criminal contempt. Police said Delgiudice was arrested for a domestic dispute at 11:30 p.m. on Meadow Road. Police would not comment any further on the details of the dispute.
Victoria Miranda, 21, of Central Islip, was arrested in Islandia Aug. 27 at 3:50 p.m. on charges of petty larceny. Police said Miranda was seen at Walmart, located at 1850 Veterans Highway, taking cosmetics and other items from the store without paying or permission.
