Police Report: Prostitution, Fight At Diner from April 20 - 26

Weekly police blotter of crime activity in Hauppauge from the Suffolk Police Public Information Office.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests:

Lisa Terruso, 32, of Islip Terrace, was arrested April 25 at 4:55 p.m. in Hauppauge for. Police said Terruso was driving a 2003 Chrysler westbound on Wireless Road when she was pulled over. Terruso had her 9-year-old daughter sitting in the front seat, according to police reports.

Amelia Young, 24, of San Leandro,Calif., was arrested April 24 in Hauppauge for prostitution. Police said at 1:14 a.m. Police said Young offered an undercover officer sexual acts for a fee. Young was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, as police said she was found with marijuana on her.

Eric Connor Jr., 22, of Staten Island, was arrested at 3:45 a.m. in Hauppauge on April 24 for driving while intoxicated. Police said Connor was driving eastbound when he was in a motor vehicle accident. At the accident site, offers determined Connor was intoxicated and he was arrested. It was his first DWI offense, according to police reports.

Michael Miller, 61, of Levitown, was arrested in Hauppauge on April 20 at 6 p.m. for physical contact. Police said Miller was at a diner when he punched a victim in the temple, next to his eye. The victim was transported to St. Catherine's hospital for medical treatment.
