Police Report: Stolen Jewelry, Illegal Drug Possession

Suffolk County's Fourth Precinct police made numerous arrests this week for stolen property, driving while intoxicated in Hauppauge.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Precinct reported these arrests and incidents in Hauppauge from May 2 to May 9.

Johanna Demasco, 25, of Patchogue, was arrested May 9 at 7 p.m. in Hauppauge forgrand larceny. Police said Demasco took a jewelry box from a relative's bedroom and pawned it.

Jared Bodnar, 21, of Hauppauge, was arrested May 9 in Hauppauge for criminal possession with a weapon. Bodnar was pulled over by police for driving a vehicle with a missing/broken headlight, according to police reports. Police said the officer who pulled Bodnar over saw a knife on the console. Bodnar was arrested at 12:05 a.m. on Marcus Avenue.

Meibeo Membreno, 20, of Brentwood, was arrested May 7 at 3:50 a.m. in Hauppauge for driving while intoxicated. Police said Membreno was driving a 1992 Toyota when he stopped in the northbound lane of Route 111 without his hazards on. Police approached the car and determined Membreno was intoxicated, according to police reports.

Matthew Sheskin, 20, of Nesconset, was arrested in Hauppauge on May 7 at 2:45 p.m. for grand larceny. Police said Sheskin stole assorted jewelry from his mother. Police valued the stolen goods at more than $1,000.

Ryan Miskovsky, 25, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested in Hauppauge on May 6 at 4:30 p.m. for criminal possession of an illegal substance. Police said they found Miskovsky was in possession of drugs near the intersection of Motor Parkway and Adams Avenue. After further investigation, officers discovered Miskovsky had counterfeit money and was seen driving while having a suspended license. He was also charged with aggravated unlicensed use of a vehicle and possession of forged instruments.

Alexandria Heller, 19, of Mastic, was arrested in Hauppauge on May 5 at 3 a.m. for driving while ability impaired. Police said Heller was driving a 2010 Toyota westbound on Route 347 while in the eastbound lane. The officer who pulled over Heller determined she was under the influence of alcohol, according to police reports.

Mark Timothy, 21, of Hauppauge, was arrested in Hauppauge on May 6 at 4:10 a.m. for driving while intoxicated. Timothy was swerving while driving a 2005 Nissan, according to police reports, at some points almost hitting the guardrail.

Sherrill Pasquale, 47, of Hauppauge, was arrested in Hauppauge on May 4 at 5:40 p.m. for petit larceny. Police said Pasquale took merchandise from the Walmart in Islandia without permission and without paying. She stole property valued at less than $100, according to police reports.
