Police Seek Electronics Thief

Police are looking for a man they say stole items from the Islandia Walmart.

Suffolk County police are asking for the public’s help to find a man they say stole electronics from an Islandia store.

According to police a man entered Walmart, located at 1850 Vets Hwy. on Dec. 3 and placed a Blu-ray player and HP laptop in a shopping cart and left the store without paying for them. Police said the incident occurred at about 2:45 p.m.

A cash reward up to $5,000 is being offered by Suffolk County Crime Stoppers for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. According to police, all calls will be kept confidential.
