Robbers Break Into Haupauge Deli
Suffolk County police confirm the 454 Deli was broken into on Sunday morning.
Robbers made off with a cash register from a Hauppauge deli early Sunday morning, according to Suffolk County police.
Police said they were alerted to robbers breaking into the in the Sears Hardware shopping center on Veterans Highway at 3:20 a.m. on Jan. 29. The suspects threw a brick through the deli's front glass door, shattering it.
The robbers entered and took the cash register before fleeing from the scene of the crime, according to police reports. The cash register had approximately $100 inside it.

The extent of the damage done to 454 Deli is unknown. The owners could not be reached for comment.
