Six Men Arrested in Islandia Prostitution Sting

Suffolk County Police conduct "John" Sing on Suffolk Avenue in Islandia.

Suffolk County Police have arrested six men Tuesday as "Johns" in prostitution sting conducted in Islandia. 

The Suffolk County Fourth Precinct in connecting with the Community Oriented Police Enforcement unit conducted a "John" sting on Suffolk Avenue in Islandia after receiving multiple complaints from local community members. 

Police arrested six men who were charged with patronizing a prostitute in the third-degree: Jose Morales, 22, of Central Islip; Melvin Antonio-Villalobos, 32, of Central Islip; Lelis Canales, 31, of Brentwood; Adin Granados, 28, of Central Islip; Myron Bohannon, 43, of Mastic Beach; and Lambert Marsh, 55, of Central Islip.

Officers also charged Bohannan, a Level 3 sex offender with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 

Bohannan and Morales, who was charged with having an outstanding bench warrant, will be held overnight for arraignment in Central Islip courts. The others arrested were released on bail.
