Islandia Village Officials Re-Elected To Office

Two Village trustees and a Justice to be sworn in on April 5.

Islandia Village officials were re-elected to office by local residents in the 2011 Elections.

The Village of Islandia held its annual elections on March 15. Village Trustees Patricia Peters and Barbara Lacey were up for re-election alongside Justice Alan Wolinsky. All races were uncontested.

Peters was elected as a village trustee in 2007, and has been re-elected to her second four-year term. Lacey was appointed to the position in 2010, after it was vacated by Suellen Leonardo. The 2011 is the first election she has won.
