Islandia Village Trustees Sworn Into Office

Both Patricia Peters and Barbara Lacey will serve their second terms.

Islandia Village trustees Patricia Peters and Barbara Lacey were sworn into their second terms at the village's April 5 board meeting. Both were re-elected after running uncontested in the March 15 election.

Peters, who was first elected as a village trustee in 2007, has been re-elected to a four-year term.

Lacey was appointed to office after trustee Suellen Leonardo stepped down in 2010. She won her first election, and will serve he first four-year term.
