From Main Street to mom-and-pops, the greater Town of Smithtown area has plenty of specialty shops offering anything from gifts to furniture, but which shop is the best?

Our readers nominated their favorite places. Now, they are in the running for best of the best—and later this summer, they may beat out the competition to become the number one Readers' Choice.

Voting begins July 23 and ends Aug. 17.
