Find out about the history of maple sugaring as well as techniques that will enable you to make syrup in your own backyard. Join us as we tap a tree, boil sap, and taste maple and walnut syrup and of course everyone's favorite......maple sugar.
We will demonstrate both native American and Colonial techniques, and produce some real syrup which you can taste. In addition, we will demonstrate how to make and select equipment, and identify and tap trees so you may try sugaring on your own.
Bring your family and friends and enjoy this American tradition!
