Nov. 30: College Night, Bowling, and Islip Town Meeting

Tuesday brings a mix of sports, academics and government meetings.

The end of November brings a mix of academics, sports and governmental meetings that make for a busy Tuesday. Hauppauge High School students will start making decisions about their future. However, little ones know tomorrow is one day closer to the holidays.

1.  It's at Starting at 7 p.m., students can meet with college and university representatives to learn more about schools they are considering. What's campus life like?  What kind of financial aid do they offer? Listening carefully is key to finding the answers.

2. Cheer on as they play against neighboring rival Smithtown in their league opener, 3:30 p.m. Can't throw the ball straight down the lane? Then prepare to be impressed.

3. Find out what's going on in your neighborhood at the , 7 p.m. Topics up for a public hearing include changes in the Town code regarding dogs.
