Hauppauge Middle School officials recognized those students who are setting an example to follow - both inside and outside of the classroom.
acknowledged 30 students for consistently meet or exceed the highest standards of behavior both in and out of the classroom at its Breakfast of Champions on March 16.
Those students honored were nominated by a teacher for exemplifying the characteristics of the R.I.C.E., respect, impulse control, compassion, and equity. The honorees received awards and were treated to a breakfast with their teachers and family members.
