Hauppauge's Board of Education will recognize appoint teachers to tenure, approve the charter to high school clubs.
The Hauppauge Board of Education will hold their second meeting of October on Tuesday evening. The preliminary agenda posted on the district's website indicates the board will discuss appointments to tenure and approve charters for various high school clubs.
Speech therapist Beth Barneet is scheduled for vote to her approval to tenure, having been hired Sept. 1, 2008.
The preliminary agenda also makes mention of two donations recently given to the Hauppauge school district.
