Three Hauppauge Residents Receive All-American Lacrosse Honors

College lacrosse players John Antoniades, Tom Compitello and Kyle Norchi honored in USILA's All-American picks.

Three Hauppauge collegiate lacrosse players received All-American honors from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association in 2011.

Tom Compitello, a senior captain and starting attackman for Stony Brook University, received Scholar All-American honors and named to the All-American Division I/Division II team. He has been invited to play for the North team in the Division I/Division II North-South game.

Compitello started the 2011 season as a third-team pre-season All-American, but found his hopes for a NCAA title dashed as Stony Brook lost to Hartford in the American East championship match. He will move on to a professional career with the Boston Cannons.
