Where to Cast Your School Budget Vote

Hauppauge residents will head to the polls to cast their vote on the proposed $98 million school budget on Tuesday. 

District residents can cast their vote at the at 495 Hoffman Lane, also known as the former Whiporwhil Elementary School, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. 

There is a small parking lot in front of the building, with a more extensive parking around to the back. To gain access to the back parkinglot, look for a small paved road at the north boundary of the property and follow it around behind the building. 

All registered voters will be asked to cast four votes - one on the school budget, another on proposition 2 for restorations at Forest Brook and Pines elementary schools, and two representatives for the Board of Education. 

Completed absentee ballots much be returned to the District Clerk's office in the Hauppauge Administrative Offices by 5 p.m. Tuesday.
