Whiz Kids: Baking Bread to Help Feed the Hungry

Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Forest Brook's fourth and fifth-grade students learned how to bake bread from scratch with a 50-minute lesson from King Arthur Flour Company.

Whiz Kid’s Key to Awesomeness:  These Forest Brook students are using their new baking skills to pay it forward to help their local community.

The King Arthur Flour Company provided each child with the necessary ingredients to bake two loaves of bread at home. Forest Brook students baked one loaf for their family, and are donating the second loaf to the Calvary Chapel Island of Grace Food Pantry in Holbrook.
