Hauppauge wrestling claimed a blow out victory over Harborfields Tornadoes on Tuesday night at its second annual Alumni Night. 

Prior to the match, more than 40 Eagles wrestling alumni from as far back at the 1950s gathered to pay tribute to the program's success. Due to the research of alumni and Hauppauge youth wrestling coach Charlie Clackett, the alumni were able to present the school with five banners for the league championship teams of 1962, 1966, 1986, 1990, 2002 and 2009 to hang from the gymnasium walls with pride. 

The Eagles won 61-6, with a major victory of the night by freshman Connor Kelly who won the 119 pound weight class in overtime, spurring his teammates to victory. Chris Mauriello, Mike Ehlinger, Brendan Ehlinger, Chanse Menendez and Anthony Martello all pinned their opponents, contributing to Hauppauge's victory.
