The Greater Smithtown Chamber of Commerce will host the sixth annual Smithtown 5K Running of the Bull and Family Fun Run on Oct.1 at New York Avenue School.
Registration starts at 8 a.m. at $25 per person. Runners will get T-shirts, while supplies last.
The race benefits the Courtney Sipes Foundation, a foundation for a Smithtown girls and Pines Elementary student that gives arts and crafts scholarships to children, and Angela's House, a Hauppauge-based foundation that aids families of chroncly ill children who require constant care.
