Hauppauge Eagles Scoreboard: Jan. 1 - 8

Hauppauge Eagles sports teams faced a tough week of competition Jan. 1 - Jan. 8, coming off a two week winter break. Some worked out the kinks and pushed through for the win. 

January 4: 

Boys Basketball at West Babylon - Hauppauge 47, W. Babylon 59

Boys Swimming hosts Smithtown - Hauppauge 93, Smithtown 93

n - Eagles  46, West Babylon 31
Hauppauge Eagles fell behind the first half as they attempted to work out the kinks from two-weeks winter break, but defense rallied in the second half to propel the offense. In the third quarter, the Eagles scored 17 points - as many as they had in the first half. Read more here.  

January 5: 

- Eagles 41, Golden Flashes 30
The Eagles grappled the win away from Sayville by taking control of the match, winning the first two weight classes, followed by a match between 2010 Champion Mark West and Sayville's Matt Leshinger.

January 6: 

t - Hauppauge 51, Bellport 61
 The Eagles face off against a difficult team, giving them the upper hand with numerous turnovers that gave Bellport control of the court. Hauppauge came back with an aggressive fourth quarter offensive push, but it was too late. 

Boys Swimming hosts Deer Park - Eagles 70, Deer Park 32

Girls Basketball travels to Bellport - Eagles 35, Bellport 38

January 7: 

Hauppauge wrestling hosts Harborfield - rescheduled for Jan. 11, 6 p.m. due to inclement weather
