Hauppauge High School's proud of its athletic tradition marked by years of success, both team and individual, and pays tribute to it.
There is a section of the high school's hallways, decorated with trophies, medals and photos of the stories of those athletes who have gone above and beyond: league championships, county and states, individual records and more. A few stop to take a look at something that documents local history.
On Jan. 11, wrestling's Alumni Night brought photo spreads of their team from 1957 to present adding to it for one night. These pictures show the athletic hall of fame and displays on that night.
