Hauppauge Boys Soccer Beat Ward Melville in Extra Time Thriller

Hard fought match ends in second 15 minute extra period.

It was a hard fought game between Ward Melville and Hauppauge Tuesday afternoon after both teams remained scoreless until the second of two 15 minute extra time periods when Hauppauge finally placed it into the net on a corner kick.

Midfielder Nick Roros was credited with the goal that won the game and put an end to Ward Melville's season with a league record of 8-4-0.

Hauppauge, who holds a league record of 8-3-3 and an overall record of 10-3-3, will take on Huntington at home on Friday at 2 p.m.
