Question of the Day: How Do You Teach Your Child Sportsmanship?
As the high school playoffs begin, we are curious how you teach your child to graciously accept a loss.
The high school sports playoffs started this Saturday with the Hauppauge Lady Eagles girls lacrosse team . At the same time, both the baseball and softball teams will begin the playoffs this week in pursuit of the Suffolk County title.
For many teams, winning this award can be more difficult than winning the county title. Yet, the ability to lose graciously is a valuable skill for all young athletes, regardless of grade level.
