Troop 343 Selling Wreaths as Holiday Fundraiser

Hauppauge Boy Scouts hold one-day sale of Christmas wreathes to raise money.

Thanksgiving marks the traditional start of the holiday season. Hauppauge Boy Scout Troop 343 is ready to help decorate your family home with their annual fundraiser.

Boy Scout Troop 343 will host its annual wreath sales fund raiser on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot on Veterans Highway. The scouts will be selling Christmas wreaths in hopes of upgrading and replacing their camping equipment and tents.

There will be a variety of wreaths sold ranging in diameter from 24 inches to  36 inches. In addition, customers will be able to purchase grave blankets, crosses, table decor and candy cane to get in the holiday spirit.

If you are interested in buying a wreath, but cannot stop on Saturday, the Boy Scouts will also be offering an opportunity to purchase wreathes at 5 p.m. Mass on Saturday and all of its Sunday Masses.
