Building A Confident Retirement
Christine Shiebler will be speaking at 644 Motor Parkway in Hauppague Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., on whether "To Trust or Not to Trust," providing insight on choosing the best planning tools for your estate, and whether a trust is potentially suitable for you. In addition, Gary Nuccio will be presenting “Building A Confident Retirement.” The goal of this information is to help ensure that you are on track to reach all of your goals in retirement. FREE.

Free Skin Cancer Screening
In honor of National Melanoma/Skin Cancer Detection and Prevention Month, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center will be holding free skin cancer screenings Thursday at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, 800 Veterans Memorial Highway, Hauppauge. By appointment only. To schedule an appointment, call 631-863-5100. 

Long Island Senior Games
A day of sports and games for active adults of 50 years and older will take place June 1 at Half Hollow Hills High School West, 375 Wolf Hill Road in Dix Hills. Call (631) 239-5741 for more information and registration.

Health to Hollywood Talent Show
Health to Hollywood is a talent show North Shore-LIJ Health System is having to raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project.  Each night, starting May 31 at 7 p.m., between 10 and 15 acts will take the stage at the YMCA Boulton Center in Bay Shore (37 West Main Street, Bay Shore) to vie for the most talented of the night. The winners of the three preliminary nights will be invited back to perform in the grand finale on June 27. For information on how to be part of the competition, please contact Lisa Finnegan at 631-647-3825 or at Lfinnegan1@nshs.edu.
