Free Skin Cancer Screening
In honor of National Melanoma/Skin Cancer Detection and Prevention Month, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center will be holding free skin cancer screenings Thursday at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, 800 Veterans Memorial Highway, Hauppauge. Long Island Senior Games

Health to Hollywood Talent Show
Health to Hollywood is a talent show North Shore-LIJ Health System is having to raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project.  Each night, starting May 31 at 7 p.m., between 10 and 15 acts will take the stage at the YMCA Boulton Center in Bay Shore (37 West Main Street, Bay Shore) to vie for the most talented of the night. The winners of the three preliminary nights will be invited back to perform in the grand finale on June 27. For information on how to be part of the competition, please contact Lisa Finnegan at 631-647-3825 or at Lfinnegan1@nshs.edu.
