  • Sick of staying in and watching TV on Friday nights? Head over to Kids Night Out at the Mill Pond House  on Friday , starting at 6 p.m. Children ages 7 - 10 can explore Watercolor Wonders , using watercolors as a medium to paint.

  • Smithtown Theatre presents “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” this weekend at 2 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday.

  • National Flip Flop Day at Tropical Smoothie  promises free smoothies between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m on Friday. Proceeds benefit Camp Sunshine, a year-long camp on Lake Sebago, Maine that supports children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.

    • Hop a trolly to the Fab Four Garden Party. Four homeowners have graciously opened their gardens for this tour which will depart from Deepwells Parking Lot via Trolley.  Trolleys will leave promptly at 1 p.m. on Friday and reservations are limited due to trolley capacity.  The “Fab Four” gardens have been chosen for their diversity and curb appeal.  Each garden will feature live music and a known local artist at work.  The artists’ works will be available for sale at the evening cocktail party which will be held at a member’s home in Nissequogue.

    Entertainment

    • Smithtown Theatre presents “Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson,” the story of America’s first political maverick and our seventh commander-in-chief with shows 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday.

    COMMACK

    Events

    • Wish the Commack High School Class of  2013 good luck as they collect their diplomas on Sunday at 10 a.m.

    Live Music

    • There’s a Super Star Concert at the Suffolk Y JCC in Commack featuring several Long Island tribute bands  Captain Jack Group, a tribute to Billy Joel; Almost Journey, a Journey tribute band; Beginnings, a Chicago tribute band; and 2U, a U2 tribute band; on Saturdy at 7:30 p.m.

    • Catch some live music at Perfecto Mundo on Friday evening from 7 - 10 p.m. with the sounds of The Other Shoe.

    KINGS PARK

    Music

    • Musical Moments will open its third season of free, live, outdoor events in Russ SavatPark on Main Street in Kings Park with a concert by Snap on Friday night at 7:30. This four-piece band was a big success at Musical Moments in 2012 and concert goers will have a second opportunity to enjoy their unique R&B, funk and dance music.

    Festivals

    • The Kings Park Farmers Market is held on Sunday from 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. in the municipal parking lot across from the firehouse on Main Street.
