Fitness-a-Thon For St Jude Children's Research Hospital
Fitness 4 You, Inc. will host a Workout for St. Jude Fitness-a-Thon Sunday, stating at 9 a.m. at the Nesconset Gazebo Park on Smithtown Boulevard to raise funds to help support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The event will include Zumba, Bootcamp, Kickboxing, Kids Fitness

Wildlife Baby Shower at Sweetbriar Nature Center
Meet orphaned animals and see how a baby squirrel and baby bird are cared for during a baby shower for animals at Sweetbriar Nature Center, located at 62 Eckernkamp Drive in Smithown on Sunday at 1 p.m. Take a nature walk to find signs of animal homes where baby animals are being raised and make craft.$5/person for members, $6 for non-members; 631-979-6344.

American Songbook Classics

Winners Fine Art Showcase
The Smithtown Township Arts Council will present the Winners Showcase 2013, an exhibition featuring the work of award-winning artists from STAC’s 2012 juried exhibitions, from May 18 until June 14 at The Mills Pond House Gallery in St. James. The public is invited to an opening reception on May 18 at 2 p.m. to meet the artists and view their work. Call 631-862-6575 for more information.
