Throughout my years in the advertising and public relations fields, and a long stint as Mom at home to 3 kids, 2 things have been my constant- exercising and writing. I took up running in my early twenties, and went on to participate in several LI half marathons, Shelter Island and Cow Harbor races. As my knees reminded me that daily running may not be that kind to my body, I branched out into biking, yoga, zumba and weight training. I became a personal trainer and have found that to be one of the more rewarding things in my life. I started blogging a year ago about various topics, including health and exercise, motherhood, life stages, and social media. I will be writing about exercise and the challenges of getting and staying fit. I would love to hear your comments and thoughts about the joys and tribulations of exercise.
